Dr. Nidaa Ammori Abdal

Dr. Abdal has been a dental provider in the Farmington Hills community since 2003. She received her bachelor’s in biology and her master’s in molecular biology from Wayne State University. She later attended the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1998.
Dr. Abdal stays current with the new technology and techniques by taking many hours of continuing education. She has taken many courses in orthodontics with United Stated Dental Institute and Progressive Orthodontics that required her to pass an exam and display her experience before getting a certificate for doing braces. Her passion is cosmetics and has taken other elite courses with Dr. John Kois that helped her understand the importance of occlusion (bite). Dr. Abdal is committed to staying on the leading edge of dentistry and she empowers her staff to attain greater success through education.
Dr. Amelia Abdal
Dr. Amelia joined Smile America Dental Center in 2023, bringing a passion for patient-centered care and a commitment to excellence. She earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Oakland University before pursuing her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy.
As a proud member of the American Dental Association and the Michigan Dental Association, Dr. Amelia stays at the forefront of advancements in dental technology and practices. She is dedicated to providing efficient, high-quality dental care to the community. She offers a full range of services, including preventive care, restorative treatments, cosmetic dentistry, and more. Whether you need a routine check-up, teeth whitening, or advanced dental procedures, Dr. Amelia and her team are here to help.
Understanding that many patients experience dental anxiety, Dr. Amelia prioritizes building strong dentist-patient relationships based on trust and respect, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for everyone. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and exploring new restaurants.
Nedda, Hygienist
Nedda, RDH has been with our practice since 2016. She graduated from Baker College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is certified in nitrous oxide and local anesthesia and laser bacteria reduction of oral health. She loves working with her patients and making them feel comfortable in the dental chair. Her mission is to provide beautiful and healthy smiles and educate her patients in providing the tools and products to improve their oral health for life.
